Comment ça marche ? il est possible de retrouver la trace de son chien par le biais d’un message SMS,d’un e-mail,d’un serveur vocal, d’un fax ou de l’écran de son téléphone portable (iMode) qui affiche un plan indiquant la position du chien.En cas de perte,le propriétaire prévient le service Trace Dog pour que la procédure de localisation soit lancée,et ce, 24 heures sur 24. Comment ça marche
Le principe consiste à placer une petite balise GSM/GPS sur le collier du chien trace. Les informations de localisation peuvent être consultées par le propriétaire via Internet, sur un PDA Windows Mobile ou un téléphone portable (par i-mode, wap ou SMS). La balise dispose d'une autonomie d'une semaine.

La position du chien est régulièrement transmise pendant une heure et et les points sont reproduits sur une carte Googlel Earth ou régulièrement envoyés par SMS.
